Was half believing his interview before he said 'Howard has had a really strong season' then i remembered there is no long term plan he's just a delusionsl oaf trying to keep his job.

Give it a rest, Dave. Accept that a large section of fans don't want him to continue as manager.
You've got to give @davek some degree of credit for how well he continues to spout absolute nonsense in an attempt to incite and wind up.

Although there may be some elements of truth in his support for Martinez, the level of passion he shows for Bobby is commendable...

...too commendable. Even an ardent Martinez fan wouldn't have the stomach to defend some of this season. It's just wonderful fishing.

That or he's simply lost the plot and is as delusional as Martinez, which would be upsetting. I'm more inclined to believe the former.

Still, there probably are people out there who actually believe what he says.

I do. I also know how quickly attitudes change.
You seem completely oblivious to any wrongdoing Roberto Martinez has done this season. Anyone that dares question his decisions is branded a: plotter, Kopite or knee jerker by yourself.

You make some valid points in some of what you say and then the rest just comes across as fishing.

I think what it really is about is that posts like this are a response to not being able to counter very reasonable points about the comparison of this season and last season - basically because it's awkward to address the excellent campaign we had in that first season AND keep stating that the manager is clueless.

Hence, the preferred way of dealing with it is to describe the purveyor of that point as deluded.
