Got to be honest, I am shocked.

I fully expected you to agree with the Daily Mail.

;)

I would say your constant support of an ideology which advocates homophobia, racism and sexism shows that the daily mail would be right up your street x

Typical daily mail article trying to whip people into a fury and judging by some people's reaction it's worked.

Don't read that [Poor language removed] lids

Reminds me of the time United brought in Henrik Larsson on loan to help seal the title and everyone kicked off.

Wait a minute...

Said it in the summer transfers thread, i hope we sign another 4 players on loan just to annoy everyone again. Everton upsetting the apple cart. BOSS.

I reckon that without the loan system the number of out of work professional footballers would run into thousands. Chelsea have 29 players out on loan...Parma simply sign everyone in sight and loan them out...a nice little earner. Currently they have 200 players out on loan. Who was it that last year loaned almost a whole team to Watford?

Fiorentina wasn't it?

I quite enjoy this thread. My love for Everton is equally matched by my dislike of the Daily Mail.

I hope next year, we loan some random Argentinian, who no one has ever heard of, and we win the league.

What the hell is wrong with loaning players? It's not a new phenomenon is it? I don't want to go with the whole 'der meeja genst us lad' but I do wonder sometimes. As soon as the kopites started picking up on us doing well with loan players, boom, national news.

I remember Terry Curran coming on loan back in 1983.

right then, lets put it this way. even if we had bought these 3 players for the quoted £50m. we still have no right being competing with a team like arsenal who spent £8m less on just one player, as well as having squad littered with other £15m-£20m players. Or miles ahead of spurs who just spent £100m and united who have spent £60m odd this season on just two players to go with another squad littered with £15m-£20m!

we've also finished above mega money spenders liverpool two years in a row without said loan players.

therefore, what's the big f*cking deal bi*ch (ala eric cartman)???

factor in the fact we've had many many injuries to pretty much all our key players this season and wouldn't it be better to dish out a bit of respect and praise like?

even with this laughable £50m quote to borrow players for one year, we should still be miles behind said clubs, but no, we're on par/quite a bit better than them anyway, the article doesn't make an awful lot of sense really, does it?

I wonder if Daily Mail journalists will be welcome at Goodison on Wednesday (and onwards).

The club needs to send a message and let the Daily Mail know what the real sham is: their "journalism".

The sad thing is people actually believe what these newspapers and 'experts' have to say. Sad thing is nearly anyone could do the jobs, I've always wondered though do they actually believe the dribble they write or are they told to follow the line and do as they're told.
