Sam is sitting around a 4. Great start followed by a disastrous run of form, and 14 points from the last 30 just isn't good enough. Is it reasonable for the manager to be behind Burnley given the start he inherited? Sure. Is it reasonable to be ten adrift of them? No.

He took over a club in a disasterous position / relegation form. We're now 9th with a fighting chance of securing 8th.

His football isn't pretty but he's made a couple of solid signings (Walcott / Tosun) and is making pretty rational team selections based on the players he has available

He might not be the man to crack the top 6 but he's done the job he was brought into to do - to steady the ship

So, for me, he gets a 7!

It could be argued that Unsy had got the team moving in the right direction with that win for which BFS stole the credit. I see your ambition is to finish 8th!!!

I really do not go along with steadying the ship as you put it, I look back at the baggies game, bournemouth, the swans just a few, and throw in the lasty derby!!!!
