Villa are fecking awful and we should've battered them. Gomes should be made to walk back to Merseyside, useless donkey!

No need for the Silva out brigade so soon. At least assess it around Christmas not 3 games in.
Pretty big 'might' that mate. I see no signs of a goal.
We're relying on Kean - a 19 year old - to be world class at this point, new to the league and country.
ExactlyYep, it's like Martinez all over again with Howard.
That's just it. We're taking too long to get the ball into the box because our route to goal is needlessly delayed/complicated by the way we're set up, with a number ten and just the two in midfield and we don't have the personnel to break teams down patiently a la City. The Liverpool 4-3-3 kick and rush is calling I feel.
The league season they had in 2017-18 was a fluke. This isn't really the place to get into that but that is what I'm saying. They played at a similar level two years ago as they did last season imo but one year De Gea saved everything and they squeaked out a fair few results without much attacking threat. The other they didn't and you end up 15 points different. So a repeat serial winner, winning the EL and finishing 2nd in the league and getting to a cup final was a "fluke".
OK mate.
That's just the way it works, we did have chances tonight. We were toying with them to start with until the wheels came off but we are not going for the jugular. Unless Gomes is pushing forward and acting as a link man with Sigurdsson, he and Morgan should not be in the first 11 together. It is just like having 10 men in attack and they roll it from side to side while the defence organises itself. Get some impetus and we hopefully we can pull teams out of that shape more often.
International break already coming up, let's hope it works like it did the one in Feb.
Everton boss Marco Silva, speaking to BBC Sport: "It is really difficult to see how we can lose this game when we create so many chances to score. It is a tough place to play football.
"We started well and controlled the game with some dangerous moments around their box. The first time they went in our box they scored.
"We spoke during thew week that Villa like to play fast set-pieces and they did that we switched off. In the first moment it was 1-0. We react and had a clear chance with Dominic [Calvert-Lewin] to make it 1-1.
"In the second half it was more with our team in the middle and them with nine players around the box. Even then we created chances to change the result for us. We had the shot off the post and the clear chances with Theo [Walcott] and Lucas [Digne]. In my opinion we should achieve more in this game but if you don't score from the chances you create.
"The most difficult thing is to create and when you do you have to put the ball in the net.
"It is concerning about the goals we didn't score and of course we should score more. Against Palace we created lots of chances to score and didn't and again today."
People thing Mourinho isn’t good enough
