It’s not the formation, well not it’s not all the problem. The problem is our lack of movement and complete obvious play; it goes like this:
Mina
To gomes
To Schneiderlin
Back to mina
To Keane
Up to Schneiderlin
To Gomes
Punt to the wing

By the time we’ve decided to move it forward they’ll have 10 men behind the ball

It was like the players have absolutely no idea as to how to attack their defence.

More of these kinds of games and we should be on the phone to Mourhino.

He's desperate to come back to the premiership and to a real club. I believe he would make a massive difference.

After very promising end of the last season we're sadly back to the square one. Over to you mr Silva.

Hope he'll turn it around like he did last time, but there are some ghosts from the past over our shoulders.

we should have had two goals and a goal cleared off the line at Palace, I mean it's not ideal we've only scored one but it's not like we aren't creating chances because DCL and Walcott are utter tosh
We are creating chances (some pretty good ones too), but not nearly enough. You need quality in those areas, but you also need quantity. 100 percent clinicality doesn’t happen even in the top sides. City will miss 5-6 gilt edges chances a game.

It was like the players have absolutely no idea as to how to attack their defence.

That comes from the training pitch, like for example a midfielder running behind his partner to open space. The Icelandic tosspot dropping deep to collect and pulling the defender with him to again create space

We play in boxes, it’s predictable and easy to play against

That's just it. We're taking too long to get the ball into the box because our route to goal is needlessly delayed/complicated by the way we're set up, with a number ten and just the two in midfield and we don't have the personnel to break teams down patiently a la City. The Liverpool 4-3-3 kick and rush is calling I feel.

Bet almost every fan would want him ringing the changes at half time. And as predicted he waited for far too long despite the team was dreadful in the first half.

It's the ridiculous 60 minute mark stupid modern manager substitution. As depressing as it is predictable.

I , like a lot of others really want it to happen for Calvert Lewin .
But something has got to give here , thats 10 games without even looking like scoring and I'm afraid its never gonna happen with him.
This will ultimately cost Silva his job.

Yep, it's like Martinez all over again with Howard.

Baffles me how Moshiri keeps appointing mid table managers and expecting things to be different.

Its like sound appoint a mid table manager but dont back him with hundreds of millions to pish up the wall like Koeman did.

Its groundhog day all the time.

Just hire a top manager to spend the money and coach the signings correctly and get value for your money!!
