2019/20 Marco Silva

I think Marco will have his detractors from the alarming slump last season which saw worrying figures which have followed him around other clubs, yet the good end to the season has really made others elevate him to hero status. Lets remain balanced, see what he has this season. IF it doesnt work out Jose Mourinho is still available! But lets wait and see, dont forget we can do our part by making GP rock against Watford and for the rest of the season.

I just hope MS take the Carabao Cup seriously, a cup is a cup and weve never won it!

Hmm this kind of post is sort of flattering really. It shows how big a club Everton really are, when you see these fans of lesser smaller and inferior clubs, coming on here and giving it the big one.You haven't won anything of note since 1980, and Emlyn Hughes used to play for you.So why don't you calm down a bit, and show a bit more respect to a club, that is way bigger and more respected worldwide than Wolves ever were and ever will be.
Corky stop trying to score cheap likes by attempting to belittle a visiting non RS supporter.

I don't see anything contentious in his post whatsoever, they have a decent team, played well in their first season back, they're better organised than us, have a better manager and they're playing in Europe.

At no point was he condescending or saying they're a bigger club than us and I believe he was being respectable whilst being totally honest.

Wake up and smell the coffee, results will tell at the end of the season who is the better team, in the meantime stop trying to give it large as usual thinking everyone on here is backing you.

@Wolf man all the best for the coming season, good luck in Europe, I hope we're looking down on you at the end of the season though.

My views on Silva eased and the slate is clean as far as I’m concerned for this season.

I don’t blame Silva for yesterday. I think Brands has really let him down in the summer transfer market and that could affect him later on in the season.
Yes any issues at present fall squarely at brands door in my view.

The one thing what made me fume last season was the Millwall and Southampton cup games. I don’t mind going out of the cup early if it’s to a genuine hard luck story or beat by a better team but them two fixtures we should of won easily. The Millwall game came after a poor Christmas period and my patience with silva was gone.

He clawed it back and finished the season well when there was nothing to play for. I hope this year doesn’t go the same way.

Take the cups serious Marco lid.

They get an intense release from moaning and being angry, and football is the perfect vehicle to channel that release.

I have to admit though, it does feel good to release those emotions. The only thing is, I prefer to wait for a legitimate moment to do so.

I prefer putting my energy into making sure my life isn't so empty and terrible that I absolutely lose it over a 0-0 draw and start feeling personally aggrieved that Everton aren't as good as I would like.

What's the general opinion about Silva among you toffees now? Are most people just waiting to see how the season goes after a seemingly good summer? Remember it got pretty heated here during last season, but you finished well enough.

I think everyone is praying our end of season form translates to the start of this season really and hoping we don't take 2 months off at christmas.

I'll admit im still not sold on him- think with the money we have been spending we could attract a proven manager who could have us in and around the top 6 / winning the odd trophy.

Lets see how he does this seasons the acid test
