There will be no ELITE managers wanting to manage Everton right now.

But there will definitely be lots of GOOD managers who are interested. This is a big job and there is enough talent to work with.

Fear of the future is no reason to stick with Silva. We have the opportunity to move forward so we need to grasp it.

Good managers will wait for teams that have the pull and finances to attract champions league level players.

We always have to pay over the odds for players that are just under that level, eg Siggy, because smaller teams don't feel under as much pressure to sell, unless it's a top 6 team coming in for a player.

For that reason it's way harder for us to attract a top level manager.

Managers aren't stupid. They know, even with a decent amount of money, we're fighting against the odds. Why come here when they can wait for a team, that is struggling but has the resources to do better comes in instead.

Moshiri has pumped 250m into the club.

Some of which we spent on player transfers, some of it on wages, some of it on sacking and hiring managers, some of it on the stadium, some of it on Agents fees.

Its all gone, our accounts show this.

Its been wasted, Moshiri himself said we had 1 window to establish ourselves, we missed.

You said we're no different to other teams, sorry if I'm crossing wires here but I still think we will keep spending.

The accounts mean nothing it's an easily manipulative system. We've just cleared loads.

It's a good thing Brands seems to understand that signing 27 year olds for big fees is a way to make a bad signing a catastrophe. We still have some to spend each year so it needs to be done well.

I think every team in the league will continue to spend vast sums.

We have spent more than all but 3 teams in the league in the last 3 years, not far off 250m, our wage bill has increased from 86m to 142m in that period, we have spent 52m on hiring and firing managers, we have spent 48m on Agent fees, but none of it has mattered, cos every other team in the league has also spent vastly more than they ever have.

We got a cash injection, I cant see why Moshiri would keep digging into his pocket. Hes not here to be a charity, hes here to make money.

I did mention this the other day. That in the last 4 seasons our debt on spending is 218mil
Bournemouth 180mil
Brighton, incredibly and hard to believe is 206mil
And with actually checking other team properly, I’m pretty sure the likes of West Ham, Wolves Aston Villa, Leicester. Will all be between 150mil and 200.

So we aren’t actually spending much more than the other teams trying to break the top 6. Even though there is a media narrative that we spend billions and all the teams mentioned spend peanuts.

I'll go Esk on this tomorrow.

Two thirds. Christ.

Fourth best defensive record last year.
More goals scored and less conceded.
Transition from oldest to youngest squad.

Transition from oldest to youngest squad has absolutely nothing to do with Silva !. That is totally down to Brands.
If we have such a good defensive record, and are scoring more goals (6 is it this season so far ?)
Why are we are we are in the league ?.
Get a grip lad

Usmanov. He's not even a legitimate billionaire.

That's my lazy answer.

Love it when people mention City.

They are the reason we have FFP.

And work on the stadium will begin next year.

Hang on a minute....if EFC wan to win the league then we have to finish above City right?

FFP can be fixed by INVESTMENT...which EFC don't do.

Can you give me an exact date next year when work on the stadium will begin?....1st Jan 2020 or 31st Dec 2020? Narrow it down for me dude....;)
