I know results haven’t always gone our way but we’ve legitimately had only two maybe three bad performances all season (West Ham, Southampton in the cup, maybe Huddersfield). All the rest the level of performance has been very consistent. We’ve been undone by individual mistakes (Jagielka, Baines, Pickford) and poor finishing (Bernard Calvert Lewin Gomes) but in terms of general team play from front to back this is as consistent as we’ve been since 07-09 without a doubt.

It’s good to see a more unified fan base. I can moan as well as anyone but it drags you down and you just want to see genuine improvement, something to get enthusiastic about you know?

This fella isn’t daft, brands isn’t daft either and if they have big egos they are yet to reveal them. We will have ups and downs this season, it’s important to stick together and get behind the manager and players like today after a horrible way to lose the game.

Instead of blood boiling tantrums towards him or the club (which tbh would of been a understandable first reaction given the way we lost) there seems to be more of togetherness which is what we need.

It’s early days and there is a lot to improve but at least it’s something to be enthusiastic about. I like him .
Great post that mate

Was totally unconvinced regards this fella as you all know

But after performances like yesterday it's hard not to hold my hands up and say I got it wrong...

We look such an exciting team. Even the media are picking up on it now

Tbf even klopp was full of praise for Marco.
Yeah pretty much this, if he hasnt won us over by now there is something wrong with us, doing a great job, along with Brands

They would never play for the point no matter what minute it was or if it was our ground, that will always be the difference between the 2 clubs, they want to win at all costs, we don't and never will, you will be hard pushed to find anything as cowardly as this football club.
Go away, Benedict.
This is an Everton Forum.

His brand of football gifts every team we play chances

Southampton (Ings)
Fulham (sessegnon)
Cardiff (Coleman)
Leicester when down to 10 even had chances.

It's too open, he needs to tweak the tactics now and again and not play the same way every week.

It's the most attacking football we have played for ages but I have also never seen us concede so many chances.
We have conceded the fifth fewest chances in the league and half fewer per game than under Allardyce. You're talking total wham.

Ok mate are you a kopite day tripper / scarf and iPad or are you one of the many blag scouse kopites I come across who can't get a ticket for the game even when you don't sellout ?

Under allardyce we were never this exposed at the back.

Hence the lack of clean sheets under Silva.
I'm pretty sure even Rotherham scored past us.

Last 8 games 4 clean sheets and we still attack and have shots on target.
Allardyces defence was slightly exposed against Spurs and Arsenal away and he was trying to shut up shop.
Suppose it depends on what style of play the fans want..........hence Allardyce getting sacked.
You are likely to get a few more clean sheets parking the bus and not attempting to win rather than attempting to win
