Under allardyce we were never this exposed at the back.

Hence the lack of clean sheets under Silva.
I'm pretty sure even Rotherham scored past us.

'Despite finishing eighth last season, Everton conceded more goals than all but five clubs, this time only four clubs have conceded less than Silva’s team.'

His brand of football gifts every team we play chances

Southampton (Ings)
Fulham (sessegnon)
Cardiff (Coleman)
Leicester when down to 10 even had chances.

It's too open, he needs to tweak the tactics now and again and not play the same way every week.

It's the most attacking football we have played for ages but I have also never seen us concede so many chances.

We kept a clean sheet away to Chelsea and, save for the last minute blunder, would have done the same against Liverpool.

There will always be chances conceded, but in pleasantly surprised that they seem to be getting more infrequent recently.

Our defence is tightening up a lot, remember when people said he couldn’t organise a defence? We were one fluked freak goal away from three clean sheets on the spin including Chelsea and Liverpool away.

I doubt any of the circus around that derby game will bother him. He’s not arsed one bit about the big red media machine, he’s on an absolute mission and he’s made huge strides so far. No one’s getting in his way he’s an absolute machine. Can’t wait for his next sarky press conference and absolute nonchalance when another win is racked up and another week in the top 6 ensues. We’ll win trophies and be top 4 and he still won’t even act surprised by it. It’s early days but he’s laying claim to being the best Everton manager since Moyes.

That's not really much of an achievement!

Agree with the rest.

Pickford came to us as potential. He is now the regular England keeper, Player and players player of the year at Everton. Had a good world cup despite taking unfounded flak for the belguim goal and came back a media and fan hero. He held his hands up and not shyed away from the mistake so no arrogance there. Yes lets play Stek instead because the Stek doesn't make any mistakes and played in a WC final so must be a much better keeper.

Oops!! Wrong thread

Was totally unconvinced regards this fella as you all know

But after performances like yesterday it's hard not to hold my hands up and say I got it wrong...

We look such an exciting team. Even the media are picking up on it now

Tbf even klopp was full of praise for Marco.
Great a pat on the head from the nutjob over the park. I want Klopp to hate him, the same way they used to hate Joe Royle :)
