Im not as cup mad as most people.

I realise its been ages, but for me progress is more important than winning cups, cups arent something you can just set out to win, they are things that just happen. So our main focus for me should be to play in Europe, every season, get our name ringing out. Cos Carlos Kickaball doesnt care which English team wins the League cup before he joins.

Plus I keep reading about how good our yoot is, so we can cope with a Europa, even if we use it to play the under18s.
I would only be in favour of qualifying for the Europa if Marco
A ) Played none of his first 15/16 plus any new signings in the qualifying rounds.
B) Played youth players and players we wanted rid of in the qualifying rounds
C) Picked first team players only for home games in the group stages.(9/10 points should qualify from group stages.
EL has ruined seasons for us in the past and will again if we haven't got the squad to cope

Virginia
Kenny Holgate Gibson Baines

McCarthy Schnederlin

Walcott Dowell Lookman

Tosun

That 11 should get you through the qualifying rounds.
If any are sold plenty of others to fill the gaps

Predictions:

One victory and one defeat from Arsenal and Man U.

Beat Fulham.

Draw to Palace.

Beat Burnley.

Lose to Spurs.

53 points. Probably finish 8th/9th.
You do know that most predictions are in time proven to be horribly wrong, especially so where Everton are concerned
Lads on here said we would get 4 points from our last 9 games

Does he directly insult posters like so many of the happy clappers do or does he just have opinions that most people take offence to.
An insult from a long standing member of the forum who you realize is not being offensive or personal is a different kettle of fish.
Frank is a delicate flower but he realizes that the insults thrown at him are all friendly banter

I want a proper pre-season this year, no messing about with “experimental” line ups in our 6th friendly, still playing the likes of Mirallas and Pennington 10 days before the season starts. Last season the likes of Gomes and Bernard had no pre-season whatsoever, and our players that were involved in the World Cup only played in the last friendly.
Penno is a smashing lad though.
