I can only speak for myself but I want Eurpean footy, haven't been to a European night since Standard liege 11 years ago, too long and I'd like more, if I can mange funding.

Remember when we won the 44 game league season, got to an FA Cup final and won the CWC with a squad of about 16 players, nowhere near the sport science and physio and fitness equipment/staff they have now. It's a myth you need a big squad.

I want a proper pre-season this year, no messing about with “experimental” line ups in our 6th friendly, still playing the likes of Mirallas and Pennington 10 days before the season starts. Last season the likes of Gomes and Bernard had no pre-season whatsoever, and our players that were involved in the World Cup only played in the last friendly.

I won't, a fully expect Silva to get next season now anyway, I can see some clowns flapping on the Keane and Pickford threads. Anyway this season we have nothing to.play for now Europe has got a bit further away tonight.

That 17 day lay off was vital, and some seem to think getting into Europe would of been a good idea giving us less brakes next season.
