Is that a serious question? Sigurdsson has touched the ball a total of about 8 times in the opening 6 games. Our "captain" won't say boo to a goose and we're still playing Morgan Schneiderlin who pretty blatantly hides on the pitch and has done for the last two years.

That's patently untrue

Seamus regularly talks on the pitch, including to the ref. The refs just ignore him because he plays for Everton

What Silva says in relation to the second half against Sheffield United, it was his decision to go all out attack and leave us susceptible to the second goal which we eventually conceded. Players and manager both to blame but if Silva's way of not hiding is to go gung ho with disregard to any tactical shape then that's not going to achieve anything. You can't play like that for half an hour, not against a half decent opposition. We haven't played well once this season. Injuries to the midfield haven't helped matters.
tbf that was their only shot on target...

Delph is a proven winner and has that winning mentality.
Let's hope that rubs off on the other players sooner, rather than later.

Hit the nail on the head there, we need players with that winning mentality and that includes the coaches. How good would it be if we could get say Thierry Henry or van Nistlerooy or someone like them to coach the forwards. I would also like to see Peter Reid provide the motivation at half time if we have performances like the last two games.

Because there's no link between being a good striker and being a good striking coach.
