He does need to find another attacker, I'm so glad Bernard didn't go, we'd have gone from massively overstocked to too light.

Carlo obviously doesn't rate Berny hence why he hasn't played much. I would have been happy getting money for him. Think he will seee out his massive contract before returning to his first team in Brazil.

He done well with the other deals and we are considerably stronger that last hear but I feel like there’s a huge opportunity here to do something unthinkable 8 weeks ago.

Losing Kean and Walcott and not bringing another forward in is criminal.

When we play every 2-3 days in December who rotates with DCL? who allows him and Richarlison to be rested for the League Cup quarter final when we play 2-3 days before it?

Baffling decision making and its twice he's left us short in one key area in 2 consecutive seasons (CB last one).

Overall done a good job this window and I cant blame him for not selling our dross as covid has left the sort of clubs who would have taken them on skint - but the striker and the keeper situation has left me less confident of a top 4 finish

Yeah, I'd have been alright with him going (wouldn't agree with it) but i know his wages are too high for his role in the squad. But after letting kean and walcott go, that would have left us with just tosun, gordon and iwobi as our 3 attacking backups. You'd really worry about our creativity options. Bernard can cover all 3 positions so it's good he's still here, at least until jan.

You play richy up front and sub him off on 60 mins when we're 4 up to keep him fresh

All 3 of those are naturally left sided so its square pegs in round holes.

All im saying is we shouldnt be in a position of needing to chop and change and move Richy here, switch Iwobi there just because we have 1x injury up top.

In the space of a few weeks we've had 2x CB's injured and 2x RB's.

If that happens again to us but up top we are seriously lacking quality / options up there and it may cost us vital points. You dont buy a house and not insure it.
