Villareal were well organised and had a threat on the break, we simply could not find our best form congratulations to them , but we move on and look to August to try to get a few players in and try again ,
I mean they were better set up tactically and were set up far better as a team. Your lot played as ever, like individuals and when your big player bottled it on the big stage the superior manager with winning pedigree did you. Until you can play as a team you won’t win squat.

The subs yes i agree with he should have reacted quicker , should he have played Henderson i think its fair shout , but even so we should have imposed our game on them , we did not do that and when it gets to penalties anything can happen

The only variable in a penalty shoot out is the coin toss to decide end/1st or 2nd.

Even that was ballsed up by winning the toss and choosing to go second. Everyone goes first given the chance. And keeping De Geah in goal when he hasnt saved a pen since Adam was a lad was a major cock up. One a good manager would not have done. Christ, LVG got the OT gig on the back of subbing his keeper for a shoot out.

Listen get real here if in a pen shootout to win 11-10 is a bit unusual , but you are entitled to your view and i agree i think Henderson should be number 1 but im not blaming De gea for last night , we were well under par that was the main reason

Nor am I. I think it showed why OGS shouldnt be anywhere near the Utd Manager.

If you are happy with him, who am I to disagree, its your team, not mine.

Did i say i was happy with him ? , no i said that it was not all his fault last night the players have to take responsibility too , we have no divine right to win anything we lost on penalties this can happen in football to any team

Yeah, of course any team can lose on pens, and any team can have an off day. We know that more than most!

Just think your manager is just not good enough at the elite level, and last night, underlined that.

You seem very angry.

Do you think OGS is the man you want in charge and likely to win the league or would you change manager?

Utd could probably attrack 99 out of 100 managers if they wanted I'd imagine.

I think he blew it, United were the better team in the second half, but no subs, just drifted through extra time. Legs were gone, Villareal freshened up and should have won the tie before penalties.

Too passive, let the game get away from him.
