They won't sell Rashford he is the latest poster boy.
I can see Martial being moved on though.
United are going to finish a minimum of 13 points behind City this year.
Would Kane win them an additional 13 points next year?
I honestly don't know the answer to that.
13 points is a false number. City already won the league and United are more focused on the Europa League final. The gap is probably closer to 7-10 points. I think Kane adds that constant main threat where teams have to be on him constantly or they get instantly put to the sword. With Kane leading the line the wide players and mid fielders have even more freedom.

15 of United's goals this season came in two games (9-0 Southampton, 6-2 Leeds) so you're realistically looking at more of a 58-60 goals scored. With Kane youre guaranteed half a goal a game.

As OGS gone potty fielding a nearly full strength team for a dead rubber against Fulham , more injuries especially in defence could cost us big time against Villareal , playing Pogba and Fernandes absolutley potty as well

Surely youre going to get a centre back and defensive midfielder in before going for Kane?

Martial is a good makeweight if you can move him on though.

I don't see how they can get Martial out of there. No one will pay anything approaching those wages. No one. Maybe they could structure it as a two-year loan with a discounted option to buy on the back end.

That said, United is a club that even post-COVID can fund idiotic net spends, so I can see them in for Kane along with a CB and DM.

Greenwood is a baller, buying Kane could damage his development, he's a unbelievable finisher for someone so young, with the pace he has as well he could be following the trajectory of the likes of Mbappe and Haaland.

They are better off spending the Kane money on a top CB and Sancho and let Greenwood lead the line.

It’s a good comparison.

The oil tag has been a factor in teams not taking their success as serious, but it’s true City aren’t anyone’s biggest rival.

You had RS cheering us (Everton) vs United in the ‘95 cup final, you had United fans cheering City vs the RS in the league title run ins (‘14 and ‘19). Any local rivalry goes out the window when the opposition is either the RS or United.
I doubt that City fans are arsed about what any rs or man u fan thinks, when in the last 10 years they've seen their team win, 5 league titles 6 league cups 2 fa cups and a potential champions league win. This City side are without a doubt the team of the decade. They won a european trophy before the rs did as well btw.lol

Looks like Maguire and Martial definitely out for Villareal , i think this game now is 50-50- , it needs the defence and Pogba and Fernandes to step it up big time

Im amazed theyre being linked with both Sancho and Kane.

Both signings make sense for them for different reasons...Kane gives them a chance at the big prizes while Sancho expands their young core.

But neither helps at CB or DM which seems to be where they should be focused.
