I am really surprised at the negativity of Everton fans. You guys always seem to have our number. You seem to dominate our midfield no matter what. I can never work it out considering we tend to dominate every other midfield in the league. I never look forward to this game.

It was a surprise to us too, we always seem to up our tempo against you guys, we are down at the moment and some key player missing through injuries or suspension, but for some strange reason we seem to play our best in those game? Can't explain why? Let's see what we are being serve tonght, but one things for sure it would be a freezing evening.

Without Arteta we're a lot less likely to dominate the midfield. Hopefully Felli has a stormer again though.

probable city line up

Joe Hart
Pablo Zabaletta Kolo Toure Vincent Kompany Aleksander Kolorov
Gareth Barry
YaYa Toure James Milner
David Siva Mario Balotelli
Carlos Tevez

Nigel DeJong is suspended for this match

Someone in the thread said that Vincent Kompany is our weak link, think again, he has been our player of the season so far!!

We are very tight at the back, but DeJong has been instumental in that and with him not playing I see a tight game with City nicking it. I said earlier in the thread 2-1 and I stand by that.

Was at the ground today (saturday) and the snow has all been cleared, so unless there is a blizzard on sunday the game will definitely go ahead. Enjoy the match.

Jesus. That looks so strong

I try not to judge city fans based on bluemoon. In the same way I'd rather Evertonians be gauged from somewhere like here, and not bluekipper.

Every club has knobhead fans, and now with the internet, they've all got a voice. Admittedly I've never met a sound city fan (even pre-Sheik, all the ones i've met have been right bells), but then again we've got a couple on here that have joined of late, and they're both seemingly level-headed and decent peeps.

Given Moyes' lack of trust in Yakubu and Beckford, I'd probably go with Cahill upfront, Rodwell just off him and Osman in the middle of the park, alongside Fellaini. They where developing a decent understanding before Fellaini's injury, and it gives us a bit more creativity, aswell as someone who's comfortable in possession.

You don't know what your going to get with Bilyaletdinov and Coleman, so we'll need that strong spine in central areas, and I really can't see us doing much with our one creative outlet (Osman, Bily) stuck in positions where they aren't going to consistently influence the game. With Arteta and Pienaar out, we are going to have to find the right balance.

We are gonna get a sub zero bumming like an arctic polar bear in mating season

Having been recently converted to the "had enough of Moyes" club, I actually think we will draw at the very least tonight. This optimism is based more on the fact I just can't see Man City on top of the league rather than Moyes going for the jugular from minute one, this game is set up for a classic Cahill one niller.
