Moyes likes horses for courses and if Heitinga, who featured against City in the two victories last season, is at all fit I think he'll put him in to try and stop Silva running riot.
Heitinga would fit in better on their side of the pitch; a player too big for his boots, only here for the money, and not arsed in the slightest about the club. I'm hoping he doesn't get to play for us again, and we sell him in Jan. I'm sick to the teeth of him, to be honest.
Maybe so, but Moyes might be thinking about sticking him in the shop window in a televised game...as well as looking to get a grip physically on midfield - which we could do, given they have no De Jong and Barry is not the most combative.
Heitinga's a risk to play though now, imo. In his last few games for us, he made sloppy passes throughout, and generally looked lethargic and disinterested. In a game where we'll need to maintain our energy levels, and really put in a great shift, I don't think that's what we're looking for.
