I've got a feeling Pienaar's going to push through the pain barrier, as he often does, so I'd like to see:

Howard
Neville Jags Distin Baines
Coleman Rodwell Fellaini Pienaar
Cahill Yakubu

If Osman's fit then I wouldn't mind seeing him play too, providing he plays centrally.

Pienaar will play, he always plays unless he's actually incapacitated. It'll probably be the same team as last week.

We're going to need a massive game from Rod and Fellaini, City are really quite good in midfield now.

Moyes likes horses for courses and if Heitinga, who featured against City in the two victories last season, is at all fit I think he'll put him in to try and stop Silva running riot.

Heitinga would fit in better on their side of the pitch; a player too big for his boots, only here for the money, and not arsed in the slightest about the club. I'm hoping he doesn't get to play for us again, and we sell him in Jan. I'm sick to the teeth of him, to be honest.

Maybe so, but Moyes might be thinking about sticking him in the shop window in a televised game...as well as looking to get a grip physically on midfield - which we could do, given they have no De Jong and Barry is not the most combative.

Heitinga's a risk to play though now, imo. In his last few games for us, he made sloppy passes throughout, and generally looked lethargic and disinterested. In a game where we'll need to maintain our energy levels, and really put in a great shift, I don't think that's what we're looking for.

Yes, his distribution has been poor. I think in a game where the opposition will come at us his passing success might be overlooked if he can give some protection to the back four. With Tevez and Silva knocking about the edge of the 18 yard box I think I'd rather have another body patrolling there.

I hope this game gets the go ahead and not postponed. Moyes need to get his cold weather group together and do a number on City so we can start our normal mid season climb. This has been a dismal weekend for football except for the potential Fat waiter firing?

Thanks to the crap weather, my flight was canx'd and now I get to cheer on the boys with you all tonight. Feel a ass whipping coming on. Think we are gonna take them behind the woodshed tonight. 3-1 Blues!
