"Everybody has a secret world inside of them. I mean everybody. All of the people in the whole world, I mean everybody — no matter how dull and boring they are on the outside. Inside them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds... Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands, maybe." ~ Neil Gaiman

He is visited by the Sandman but can't remember his dream. He wakes, unbeknownst to begin a journey of humility and redemption. He finally finds his way to Goodison park. The poisonous reddish hue gone from his face; saved for something real - the flush of humility and acceptance and the knowledge of what must be done.

"Things need not have happened to be true. Tales and adventures are the shadow truths that will endure when mere facts are dust and ashes and forgotten." Sandman
