I only saw the last 20 mins (lucky me) - best I have seen of Everton this season so far.

Given we had a game in Europe, 60 hours previous, very promising to see us finishing so strongly.

Three games on the bounce, all away at difficult places, that we've finished very strongly. I recall Martinez saying he needs to pace the players for a long season bearing in mind we have the Europa League (which can add 16 games to the season). I'm not one bit concerned.....only Swansea in the League cup was a poor performance, every other game has been extremely fine margins. More concerning is the ease with which key players pick up significant injuries.
We'll be fine, absolutely fine.

The second goal we conceded was an absolute disgrace and I don't mean Howard's clearance. We play a ball down the wing that Hibbert doesn't bother running after and Pienaar is too injured to chase. Instead of Pienaar going down and us making a sub he carries hobbling around. We really need to get smarter because that was just stupidity.

Pienaar the little tart was hobbling around all day. He was useless today

We weren't "very poor" Goat. Not great, but equally not poor

We were terrible in our approach tbh. Facing a team with an awful defence and couldn't even muster up a chance in 45 minutes until they gifted us a penalty.

We were good for 5 minutes after Naismith's goal when they look rattled and 10 minutes at the end. We were crap the rest.

Also, I wanted Oviedo to start today in front of Baines. Playing a clearly not up to it Pienaar was baffling, why not play Oviedo who seems to be raring to get out and play? Looked good when he came on.

I think we watched a different game.
But, each to their own as they say.

We stroked it around at times and I thought a few players had a decent game, but I thought, as we have for most of the season, lacked any real cutting edge going forward.

De Gea made some cracking saves and Baines missed a peno, on another day we win or at least take a point, but overall I wasnt impressed with what I saw, certain players let us down big time and the manager was slow to make the correct subs at the right time.

United aint all dat and as I said, we should have at least took a point.
