they all played him offside apart from our captain who for some reason was about 3 yards behind play. it was a jammy goal a woeful effort that turned into a great cross, but howard is clearly to blame for the goal.

pienaar was injured at the time, if he kicked the ball out for a throw, the game would have been stopped, i have no idea what he was trying to achieve
It was Stones who was ball watching and played Falcao offside.

Laughing here how our fans are saying how poor are players are...

This is the best we got unless we become them. Which is not Everton. Everton Global Corporation maybe...??

We should never have given a 33 year old a 3 year contract.
Same with Hibbert and Howard.
The thing is, we kinda needed to. I mean, imagine if we didn't have Barry & Hibbert to cover. Would you really have placed all your faith into browning from the start of the season? We didn't even know what he was capable of, and Hibbert/Barry will teach others a lot.

And Besic mccarthy osman & gibson our only centre midfielders? You'd have all been fuming!

Barry was an astute signing and whether or not he's declining, he's still a very good player and an experienced head amongst the squad

We are so unlucky with injuries. That doesn't look good for Stones, hopefully Browning will be able to step up.

Poor game from Lukaku. He's not getting a lot of chances which is also worrying. The defenders seem to be able to keep him in their pockets.

McGeady doesn't deserve to wear the shirt. Unfortunately as I said in pre-season. We needed cover for RB, Striker and a starter for LW and only got a striker.

However I did say that we just needed to get to past this game and go from there but unfortunately with Mirallas and probably now Stones long term I can't see this turning around very quickly.

It was such a shame because apart from DiMaria Utd where rubbish and where there for the taking.

The fact that they're in 4th goes to show that a CL place was definitely on for this season with the way Liverpool, Utd and Spurs are playing.

Bobby does have a lot of work to do but as fans we really need to be supportive however take down that friggin Mural.

Alright, mate. He's not been amazing, but he's been far from terrible.

He can hardly lead the line at left wing mate

While that's true, I can't believe you're looking at him thinking it was money well spent.

He'd look miles better running onto the ball, and while we aren't playing those balls, he isn't moving either. Chicken and egg?

His hold up play is average and his passing doesn't quite reach that standard.

Take Mirallas, Barkley, Coleman & McCarthy out of any side and thats the end result. We still pushed them until the last kick of the game, now we're probably without Stones.

Anyone who is criticizing Martinez needs to injure their mar.
Losing the potency of our entire right hand side threat as a team, leaving Baines our only hope down the left, would hinder any and every team!

The worst bit is the subbing of Hibbert for browning!

If browning can finish a game then he can start it! It's a disgrace to be playing Hibbert...

We waste a substitution by hauling Hibbert off.. Fume!!

Do you ever think that if we where winning and we needed to defend in the last 10mins rather than chase the game then he wouldn't make the substitution?

Come on. Hibbert is limited. We all know that but he's had 3 decent games.

You make some good points. Osman and Pienaar are crucial to the success of this style of play; but I would counter that Osman behind Naismith is the way forward. I wasn't hailing him last year as some saviour, I've never thought that, and if other people have done, that's their misapprehension. Today, and all season in fact, has not been about ragging on the subpar performance of the record transfer buy; he has been abysmal. Today he was downright hopeless... it is not the responsibility of anyone else when it comes to a player's control and ability to play a simple short pass. Lukaku looked inept at even the most basic tasks. It was almost ridiculous... the albatross around the neck in the form of that ridiculous fee weighs heavy on us all, Martinez & Lukaku quite clearly. We're forced to play him on that basis.

If Osman is crucial to our success we really are sc*****

Not going to claim we played great but tbh was a better performance than I expected, especially in the 2nd half.

Main difference was in goalkeepers - bit of luck on our side and less on theirs and we could have got all three points as other than Di Maria & McNair they weren't impressive.
