Missing key seniors, coming off a shocker and beaten by a penalty in the last minute at one of the toughest grounds in the game to get anything.

That's what the game is all about. We are exactly where we should be in the league and terms of players / injuries and blooding the next generation chuck 'em in at the deep end. See if they float. They learn the hard way this season, they are better experienced next time round. Koeman could have played a different hand, but then Ibra could have and should have had 2 - one shady offside and one absolute sitter.

Everyone suddenly thinks we are alot better than we actually are for some reason. We have had a great 2017 and on paper a draw at OT is progress in anyones book. Difficult pill to swallow in the last minute - but are you Blues? Get some backbone please.
Wish I could double like

I just think that when the footballing gods are with you on an evening like that then you need to remain switched on all the way to 95 or whatever minute full time is called at.I dont think we are better than we are but when getting the rub if the green joined with some great defending then you need to grab it with both hands....

Can't argue with this though. I did think it was just going to be our night.

all i'm going to say is

1. probably worst Liverpool side I've seen in the past 10 years - 0 points

2. probably worst man utd side I've seen in the past 10 years - 1 point

we are going to need to improve a hell of a lot in the summer

Are you joking? That Liverpool side was the best they've had since Suarez and Gerrard. And that United team was not their worst either, they used to line up terribly under Ferguson. Take into consideration our team as well and the fact we were away at two of the toughest grounds in the league. I think you're being a bit cynical mate

I'm not ruling out 6th yet, that draw is a good result given utd game in hand is v man city

utd are also in Europe the distraction could cost them in the league
it might have been classed as good draw before hand, but when your leading with seconds to go and going into 5th place even if its for short time ,it was defo points dropped, the subs in 2nd half changing a bit how we played,ie looking like we invited pressure so much, and when we got a goal kick when Gueye should have a 2nd yellow late on when our own player hits it via another everton player and we get goal kick on about 93,i thought we had survived the night, then its a mis hit shot that goes for the pen etc,[rather be level on 53 as it would have been]etc not behind hoping they mess up 2games in hand with us needing to win to catch up

Thought we played well after last week. Very easy to blame koeman s subs but he had it sussed only Williams handball messed it up. He doesn't handball it we get three points. Good performance but very hard to take
Sorry but he doesn't handball it we still draw because Robles was not saving it. Instinct from Williams and he didn't know where keeper was.

even the man utd biased commentators said from minute 1 there is no creativity in that man utd midfield

The absolute cheek of him to have a go at Williams who put his body on the line time and time again.

Lukaku was playing for himself out there - again.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I am no longer sure if we need his mentality in the team anymore.

I agree. Seemed to want to score at all costs. I guess a goal at Old Trafford would look great on any striker's CV, especially one that might be trying to force a move in the summer.

Not going to have that. United have a bloody great team...its the manager thats crap. If that was fergie in charge we would of had our arses handed to us. Thank christ he went when he did..united are a shambles now but not because of the players they have.

There's nothing like screaming eff off at the radio at the top of your lungs.

Everton, never stop frustrating me.

Just one of the best strikers on the planet up top then. Oh and England's bright young hope in Rashford. They also brought on Pogba and Mhiktaryan; two top players.
I'm talking about the starting line up - you know the 11 players that start the match....

also rashford did nothing in that game, and Zlatan is 35, he might still be a good player but his only contribution today was a pen.

They lined up terribly and won the league, Not bad for Ferguson really.

That United team is fairly poor. The Liverpool one though, not so much, they have a great attack and just lacking a top striker.
