That is very hard to judge as I think it was going in, we will never know if Joel could have saved it.

But he was as well positioned as Ash was to "save" it.

IMO Ash should have let it go and if it had gone in we would be no worse off.

In fact, we would be a lot better off as we are now without our main centre back on Saturday...possibly longer as I don't know what the punishment for that offence is.

That kind of action is fine when you are on the goal line and you can indeed be certain it is going in if you don't handle it.

In both matches the opposition team has been streets ahead of ours in terms of quality. So has their options on the bench (if they count).
