Theres a huge difference between man marking fellaini and man marking bale though.
Don't think it would work on bale, we just have to make sure all our players work hard and close him down quickly.
Sit deep and nick a goal on the break is fine away to spurs.

On the break? ha, as if Everton will ever counter attack

This.

I could man mark Fellaini - just piss him off a bit and he loses it.
Bale is different. All I can think of to stop him is just get in his bloody way.

Not really both occupy space between defence and midfield. Bale is more likely to hurt you from further out and can beat a man but the principle is the same. Deny them time and space with the ball and force them to go looking for it in area's where they won't hurt you.

Only a fool would allow him to troam the pitch hoping we stay solid. Sitting deep isn't an effective defence against Spurs either.

I'm gonna be fooking furious when he brings in Neville for this game, on the back of two defeats once he was removed from the team following his pathetic display against Wigan. Any player selected behind him has a right to question their future under the manager if that happens. Surely, especially with the last two games, Neville won't be fast tracked back into the XI for this? Surely?

balls to man marking 1 man team bale.
the real question should be how are they gonna deal with fellaini baines peinaar coleman jelavic and miralles sticking it to em ?

They're not. Two of them are suspendedand one's as out of form as I've seen any player, ever. The other two are full backs.
