Ha, yeah.

Not like we did it in our last two games.

To be fair Mirallas' goal was an excellent individual effort, but very poor from the rest of the team. It obviously wasn't a designed break, you can see Mirallas looking over his shoulder for support before he realizes he's isolated makes the cut to burn the defenders.

It was an excellent goal but it's a low probability goal, we can't count on Mirallas to take on 4 defenders and slot passed the keeper by himself every game.

I think part of what hurts us on the break is that 3 of our fastest players are defenders, and while Jelavic isn't exactly slow, he marks posts on set pieces so usually isn't in a position to break either.

It was a very Bale-esque goal. The last thing we want on Sunday is Bale running full pelt at our back-peddling defense, and after Saturday I'm sure Spurs will be thinking something similar about Mirallas. It's nice to have the kind of player who can do that with pace, skill and confidence.

don't really understand the argument that if we play with a positive approach then we don't have to worry about what Spurs can do. isn't it possible, maybe preferable if teams do both. one thing that effects a sides attacking approach more than anything is the fear factor. this can be worrying too much about the opposition from the word go but more often form is bound to go if the opposition is scoring every time it gets near the box. I think the soft goals conceded have more to do than anything with our forward play dipping so badly at times. yeah..lets go for it...and part of that has to be showing their best players that we know how to handle them

fight fire with fire. I am going to be pretty pissed if we see neville or jags at RB with coleman in midfield

We could try and fight fire with fire but we could end up bringing a lighter to a flame thrower fight, (Neville).
