He is more of a Gosling MKII than a Brit Roberto Carlos. Oviedo baby will benefit a lot when he learns from Bainsy.

3rd choice LB who doesn't want to be at the club. Who cares and we will get compensation.

Best of luck to him, can't blame in the slightest for going, he needs first team football to improve himself and he's a talented kid.

I'm at a bit of a loss as to why people feel the need to "Gosling" him here - it's a completely different situation.

So he's off?

Yeah same.

Part of me wonders of getting him to sign and then loan him to a Watford or Bournemouth type has been discussed or even a possibility but I think he'll do well wherever he goes.

Circumstances against him really at Everton.

Agents are horrible [Poor language removed] tho. I very much doubt tho that an agent would be lined up with "well he averages 8 in the mirror roberto" line when negotiations take place
lol - Probably not.

I just think if there is a chance he will stay and accept a loan next year since he needs the experience we should try and make it work. Players have a market rate. His agent will know it and we should pay it.

Wish he would sign here then we loan him to Bournemouth but can understand what he's doing..

There's a case to be made to him that signing with us and going on loan to them would be better for his career. You could argue why drop down to a side like that just to hope to get move to a club like Everton, when you can already have it, just do it differently?

The rumor is they would sign him on 40k/wk...no way we'd match that.
