I dunno mate. I find it very hard to judge what level of player Everton could attract at the moment. But as top a striker as possible is a vital for me. I think.

But then we need at least 1 centre back, probably 2, a proper goalkeeper, full back back ups or ones ready to take over. Centre mid is about the only position I feel we're sorted.

This has just added another vital. We needed a back up striker for ages (easier said than done), but now we need a real one or two as well.

For me, if we have goals elsewhere on the pitch then so long as we have a decent striker, we should be okay

Barkley, another top number 10 and maybe a top winger would hopefully offset the situation somewhat

I reckon we'll go for the best striker we can get. I have no idea who that is though.

You had any other thoughts on it?

I dread it being a Troy Deeney type.

We were able to sign a young Lukaku who was still a way off from being as good as he is now. That's what we need to look for this summer.

We won't be buying anyone who is the finished article with loads of the big clubs sniffing around. We'll be after players with a lot of promise who are looking to move away from a bigger club for minutes (like that Iheanacho fella at City) or someone who isn't quite ready for the Champions League but is playing for a smaller team than us at the moment (Possibly someone like the Belotti fella at Torino, but there's loads sniffing round him).

It gets even harder to do now because if you're a player that's very good but not good enough for the Champions League teams then China will rain money on you.
