Lukakus successor

I'm not sure on the Ajax kid. He's pacey for sure. But PL defenders have that in spades (apart from ours, of course!), but I dont think he;s physical enough from the few bits and pieces I've seen. Not a Koeman type, imo.
Agreed ,Dolberg is playing against pub team defenders atm, he wouldn't last 5 minutes in the prem.

I dont think Lukaku will leave this summer.

If we wanted to replace him though, we would need to sign 2 forwards with DCL as 3rd choice.

For me, it has to be Belotti at Torino. He is basically another Costa type.

Theres no one else who could come in and dominate our forward line...players such as Mbappa at Monaco are interesting shouts as for the £££ I think they would see us as a stepping stone to Barca/Madrid and thats not always a bad thing.

Dolberg/Dembele would be fine as 2nd choices but 1st choice has to be Belotti.

If Lukaku doesn't want to commit sell him, take the fee and send it to Torino and give this guy Rom's wages. He's brilliant

Imagine him and Lukaku in the same team...hes very good all round and can hold up the ball for lukaku + is a goal machine himself.

It would be great but spending over 50 million quid on a striker while we still have Lukaku and other gaping holes in the team seems unlikely

Depends on how much we have...the Stones money cant be used anymore as thats expired.

Only sales/tv money...and we have 15+ players we could sell...

Like you say though, priority has to be defence+keeper+ midfield and a backup to lukaku.

Id hope for a massive sell off of players this summer and move on all those apart from Galloway who are already on loan.

If we just signed VVD and Belotti as an example thats £100mil already...
