mourinho is very similar to moyes football wise, personality wisa he isnt tho as he likeable funny and has charisma! thats prob how he has got away with playing such pragmatic results based football

Winning countless trophies helps as well like...

Moyes could mope around Finch Farm in his pyjama's with a finger up his arse all he wanted if he stuck an F.A Cup or two in the ol' cabinet.

I've tried to avoid his press conferences tbh, the press just lick his arse constantly.

It's his "dislike" for Mata, De Bruyne and Lukaku which puzzles me.

It's almost as if he's a bit of a Moyes+, he likes his team to get a goal or two up, then sit back on the lead. He doesn't seem to trust some of his flair players, instead opting to keep it tight.

Don't think he dislikes Lukaku. He wanted to loan out Demba Ba initially. It looked like he was going to Arsenal but supposedly when they bought Ozil Mourinho pulled the plug as he thought they would be too strong.

So when us and West Brom said we wanted Lukaku he let him go instead. Nothing to do with not liking him.

De Bruyne and Mata are different cases obviously...

Jose Mourinho says he has no regrets loaning out Romelu Lukaku. The striker is on a season-long loan at Everton, where he has scored three goals.

"One thing is to play for Everton, another thing is to play for Chelsea," says the Chelsea manager.

Thanks for the teamtalk Jose. Gobs***e

The bugger is still sore over losing to us.

Jose will in no way admit to making a mistake over lukaku. He has to back his players. Having said that, everyone knows he was insane to loan him. All the pundits said it at the time.

Keep him fit and firing then we have a chance to do something this season. Be a bit of a comedown to be in the CL with jelavic up front though!

Doesn't work like that. He can't sign for us permanently until next Summer. He may agree a pre-contract in January but he's still on loan from City until June.

Are you sure about that? When Howard signed for Everton during the middle of his loan there were a lot of questions about why he didn't play against United after he signed full stop. The consensus, if I remember correctly, was that it was a gentleman's agreement between Moyes and Ferguson.

Only if their is a buy option in the loan, a permanent deal can done at the agreed price at any point during the loan, this was the case with Pienaar but be chose not to.

people still going on about signing lukaku ... im sure the west brom fans were saying the same about the loan deal they had this time last season.... ive come to the point to just enjoy the one year deal that he has with us .. also it was lukaku's choice to go on loan as he was told he may play 1 in 3 at chelski but theres some big cup competition going on at the end of the season and he wanted to make sure he gets in the waffels squad

Unless City release him from his contract to get the rest of his wages off their books

Thanks for the 3pts Jose. Love Everton.

It's a one season deal. If Chelsea don't want him, Utd or juventus etc will come straight in (Moyes will probably try to take credit for lukaku's career!!). Only way we get him is we get CL and we have £30 mill to blow
