I don't know how much it would take to get Rom here on a permanent. And even if Chelsea would be prepared to sell. £18 mill was touted yesterday for Juve to get him. And I suppose it depends on the sort of season he has with us. But I would seriously, seriously get every last penny that we have to get him. A few years of R&R would be fantastic.

We'd have sell Ross to get him.

If he has another season like last season we won't be getting him for less than £25m I reckon. I don't think we have a chance of getting him at all in all honesty though...

Think he's a right boring b*stard now, has been since Real hired him.

Shame, he used to have the lot.

I've tried to avoid his press conferences tbh, the press just lick his arse constantly.

It's his "dislike" for Mata, De Bruyne and Lukaku which puzzles me.

It's almost as if he's a bit of a Moyes+, he likes his team to get a goal or two up, then sit back on the lead. He doesn't seem to trust some of his flair players, instead opting to keep it tight.

As long as Jose dose,nt fall victim to the trigger happy Russian there,s every chance Lukaku wont fit in with his plans.

Can be a stubborn get when he wants, we can only hope the kid gets us and wants to stay. (Do it Bill ffs!!!)

Make the barry deal permanent so it'd free a loan spot up for us, then try to get in De Bruyne on loan in Jan, think the player would go, think mourinho would let him go too, and try to move heaven on earth to sign Lukaku on a permanent in jan for next summer

we can do the first two i honestly think we would be fighting it out at the top of the table all year and would qualify for the champions league. that alone would make getting Lukaku / De Bruyne genuine possibilities for the year after due to increased revenue, increased profile, and increased level of footy for the players coming in (the often heard, wants to play for a club in the champions league chestnut)

Doesn't work like that. He can't sign for us permanently until next Summer. He may agree a pre-contract in January but he's still on loan from City until June.

Aye mate, i know that, didn't explain in my post though, talking about effectively city cancelling his contract and the player taking only a % of whats owed, made up by the signing fee from us to reflect that, other option is effectively city allowing him to join on a free during january (i think thats allowed under fa rules etc)

mourinho is very similar to moyes football wise, personality wisa he isnt tho as he likeable funny and has charisma! thats prob how he has got away with playing such pragmatic results based football
