If you come on for 5 minutes 20 times does that really count? I'm not disputing your stats, just I read that Naismith got 36 games last season. Alot of those had to have been as sub as no way did he feel that involved.

I see you are here bashing another new signing before giving him a chance.

His time at Sevilla was bad, definitely. Some was down to him just not playing very well. Some was down to them changing managers and trying to change styles when Kanoute was basically the key to their style. Some was down to his injuries, one very bad injury especially at the start of his second season. He did do well out on loan however in this time.

However, more relevant is his 13 in 38 record last season. In this league.

To be honest I'm not sure about him, but I'm not going to panic about a couple of games where he was piss poor at finishing but not too shabby at holding play and laying it off. I've seen some of the best strikers in the world have poor runs of form where they miss sitters and it just doesn't go right.

I'd prefer to be positive and see how he does once he bangs in his first goal and his confidence is up.

I personally don't care about the pricetag either. Some you get bang on, some you way underpay and get lucky and some you overpay.

What reason do you think he can't? He just scored 13 last season...for a poorer team? And since then he has not had full fitness or too much playing time.

One game of terrible finishing yep. And I can't say that he will score that many, but I don't understand what reason you have to say its not possible.
