Lukaku

He talks as if he expects the world.

Mourinho doesn't care for his attitude, and I'm not even sure he's good enough to lead the line for them. He's no Rooney, RVP, Suarez, or Aguero is he, lets face it.

He is getting a bit irritating. That said I think he will be world class one day.

His bad form is worrying, Lukaku says this is due to him playing a different role, can someone explain what his role is now compared to his role at the start of the season.

At the start of the season he was asked to score goals. Now he's asked to score goals 'please'........

at liverpool he'd get plenty of games if they qualified for champs league, especially as they play 2 up top

Which one of Suarez and Sturridge would they leave out to give Lukaku 'plenty of games'?

Because he's not as good as either of them, and would be playing less games at Liverpool than he does at Everton.

The lad has developed 'massive head-itis', a common condition often found in Everton players that play half a good season and have an overly-proactive agent that constantly briefs the media on his future ambitions. Previous sufferers include the likes of Francis Jeffers, Wayne Rooney and Marouane Fellaini.

As Steven Pienaar (another one-time sufferer of 'massive head-itis' who eventually managed to find a cure) once succinctly noted to Lukaku on Twitter last November - 'You talk too much'.

The biggest problem with Lukaku is that his form since November has not matched his high opinion of himself. Martinez can publicly state how Lukaku 'does a job for the team and isn't just about scoring goals' all he likes, but he has to say that guff to publicly protect the player. The fact is, if Lukaku was as good as he says he is and claims to be, he'd be nearing 20 goals for the season, not 10. And that is why he doesn't have a future at Chelsea.

He may well get Champions League football next season, but I severely doubt it will be at Chelsea.

Hopefully this can put the "we're saving our money for Lukaku" nonsense to bed.

Jesus mate, your in a bad mood lately like, hows what he said here any change over what he said months ago, if he came out and said he would be happy playing for a team that wasnt in europe at this time people on here would slate him for not being ambitious

Footballera give interviews all the yime like this, believe mirrales said he want to be playing champs league soon last year himself and hes still here and still happy

If we get a bid accepted in the summer for him, and unless city or another top champs league team come in for him with a guaranteed starting slot then hed come.

Plus the teams that could gazzump us either have more developed, rounded players already, or are in a less prestiguos league.

Hes not gonna end up at city, rs, utd, arse, madrid, athletico, barca, bayern etc exactly is he?

Lukaku could have stayed at Chelsea and been one of 4 or 5 strikers. He doesn't want that. He wants to play every week because he sees himself as a top player. He's publicly said he doesn't want to sit on the bench and play one in every 3 or 4 games as part of a rotated squad.

I still like him mate.

Bit annoyed about him chopping his locks off though. Still.

Agree mate, people slating him for gaving the same dream we all do about cgsmos league ffs

If we did save money for him and he idoesnt come then so what, go out and get benteke instead probsbly for less, only thi.g thst arses me in summer is getting in a youngish powerhouse striker with pace, be it lukaku, benteke or whoever, spend what was stated we had saved and im happy

Just heard his comments before and quite frankly I don't want him on a permanent basis. He has been lazy even though there has been a lack of service to him and It looks like he has got his mind firmly set on going back to Chelsea next season when there is still 3 1/2 months of the season left, don't even think Mourinho will want him..

no...because - i dont think he would get hardly any game time at chelsea...they have eto'o and torres ahead of him and only EVER play one up top, ba could have been ahead of him as well

if lukaku was at liverpool he would be one of 3, fighting for 2 spots in rotation, this is very different to his situation at chelsea...i also suspect jose told him he would have very limited opportunites

I like him, but players come, players go. Everton just the same.

His large fee will be primarily based on potential. He could easily go Benteke very fast.

Good luck to him if (rather WHEN) he goes.

Not bothered.
