Some people are to focused on what they are doing, and basing how bad we supposedly are on how they are doing, i for one am not to bothered who the number 2 is as long as its not say Unsworth,ferguson and co from us, as i always as think they may report back to people behind silva's back etc,plus how many fans would know who the number 2 of there own club was,i dont think to many would know the answer to that

Maybe he's also been brought in to work with our wingers/forwards too. When you think about it Silva was a defender. If he helps give us a few extra bits in attack it may actually turn out ok. Maybe this all factors in with us looking for a left footed right winger.

I had no idea who the previous assistant manager was and what he did (other than assist) so I wont be worrying too much over who his replacement is. As long as its a Silva appointment and not someone forced on him I'm fine with it (not that the club or Boa Morte would be bothered about what I thought anyway).

Definitely agree that an assistant manager assists the manager. Are there any contrary views on this? If so they are probably based on the evidence or lack of it shown by Koeman's brother.

Marco obviously rates him. If he can help teach DCL how to slot he’ll be worth his weight in gold.

I honestly think Dixie would have trouble teaching DCL to slot mate. It’s just not natural for him and he’s actually badly gash as it .
