Louis Saha

We've already got more from him than I dared hope when he first joined from ManUre, I just hope we can all enjoy his presence in the squad for a good while longer. If he does get an offer that takes him elsewhere in the summer I certainly won't begrudge him a last decent payday.

We need to consider something else though before wanting to throw contracts around.

Saha is probably playing in his very highest gear at the moment, but that might not last, and he might shift down a few gears soon.

What we need to assess is just how good is average game is, rather than his best game.

Players rarely stay in a purple patch, and Saha will be no different. Next season might not be so fruitful.

Moyes won't rush into any deals before considering this.

Indeed BB, Moyes' judgement is key here. Many of us were thinking the offer for Saha last summer might be too good to turn down, but Moyes called it correctly - the money wouldn't do us as much good as Saha's goals this season.

He's ****** boss - only benitez would consider this, anyone with a modocum of brains would do their utmost to get his signature. He has been doing this all his career when he's been fit. Its not a purple patch, Louis Saha is one of the best there is at scoring goals we are very lucky to have him.

Anyone with a modicum of brains, especially when their decisions involve millions of pounds, will look at every angle, and not just the ' let's offer him a big deal' one.

As good as he is, the most Moyes can surely offer him is a 1 year extension, and that might not be enough for Louis.

Why? He gave Neville a 4 year deal at the age of 31.

This is a no brainer,he has to be given a new contract.Offer him 2 years with an extension available every year if he plays x amount of games.

Top class striker and the best finisher since the jug eared MOTD man who now forgets he was once a blue.

Give him the 1 year extention an go from there. No point in giving him a 3 year with a big wage. he could break down at any moment!!

Quality player thou. Without injurys he would have been one of the best..!!!

Not a bad idea, so far he definately merit a 2 years extention to his contract, I reckon Saha would still be good for us, for another season or two.

Even when he is 33 I think he could still be a super sub for us, in fact what I just said is a little negative already, especially after seeing his performance this season, there seem to be no sign of him dropping his standard due to his age.

Liverpool are sniffing around him predictably enough.

If this happens you will read about me, an axe and the FSW's head.

Typical lazy paper rubbish obviously, surely the fatty-ha-ha wouldn't risk another injury plagued striker.... would he?

I have seen this article title as well, but I choice to ignore it as most of it just make up and I am sick and tired of red fans keep saying better player on Merseyside should play for the RS and not Everton.

Arteta, Jagielka & Neville would be back for us in February, so, you just watch us beat them in the second Merseyside Derby of this season.

We need to bring in couple of loan player in January, if Man Utd Obertan is available I did love to have him over even if it is only for second half of the season.

He will stay if he was intrested in a New challenge or just the wonga i imagune he would have pushed through the move to Turkey in the summer add to the fact he proberly settled in the north west too.

I can't see him leaving, I think he appreciates the chance we gave him at EVerton and will see out his career here.

I'm afraid I could see him leaving for a less physical league, somewhere sunny like Marseille would surely appeal to our Louis. Hope he gives us another year but if he doesn't I'll still say thanks for the goals and good luck to him.
