That was a very handy and experienced euro team. We just controlled the bulk of that game and they didn't have a clear cut chance. We created one and their GK made a fine save.

I understand that other people would rather watch more dogged, limited players who sweat bullets. But I prefer a bit of skill rather than a lot of effort.

McGeady is someone who will play well when the team is having a stormer but will generally struggle otherwise.

I'm quite happy to have him as a back up to Miralles.

Distin was more solid than he has been but for me he hinders us playing with a bit more pace, the amount of times he lets the ball slow down or roll to him instead of picking the pace up,l

McGeady is so bloody wasteful.

Point away from home is very good.
