Take a point. Another clean sheet n 90mins for ross. Hibbo n jags very solid. Will have few fresh players for sunday. Will beat them at home in 2 weeks

Very good performance - an entertaining game for a 0-0. We will clearly batter these 3 or 4-0 at goodison as they didn't look much of a threat to me and we looked to be set up in a slightly cagier manner than we would.

That was a very handy and experienced euro team. We just controlled the bulk of that game and they didn't have a clear cut chance. We created one and their GK made a fine save.

That's about the long and short of it. A very well earned and professional point from a focused performance.

Dave?

McGeady is someone who will play well when the team is having a stormer but will generally struggle otherwise.

I'm quite happy to have him as a back up to Miralles.
Yep, I don't think he'll ever turn a game. Confidence player who'll do well with a lot of support.

Can't really complain about a point on the road, but we have to put them away in two weeks time as the away game in Wolfsburg will be the rel test in this group stage. Personally disappointed in the one real chance McGeady gad to get to the beeline and put a cross in for Rom and he checked inside and nausea up the pass.

Still advantage Everton in terms of the group, but one slip up and we could be chasing to get the next round, crucial next game in a few weeks

As El Bob has just said the pitch was iffy, and yes TH had a solid game at right back and that allows Seamus to be well rested for Burnley on Sunday.

GK makes a great save, tbf.

That was a solid performance, a European performance. Defence didn't concede, Besic was solid, he can grow into the team, Barry was brilliant. Lukaku looks like he might be interested. Barkley came through unscathed. Lille are a good side and an away point is a result.
