When Marce said "he was on his list,.." I wonder what list. I mean when he was at Charlton? It would not have been when he was with us could they could never afford him.
Also, is it an actual list, like in his shirt pocket of players he likes?!

Maybe the January loan list.

I hope Brands understands the different levels from PSV to Everton. Yeah, Lookman should start a 100% of matches for PSV, he probably shouldnt for Everton.

Sam could have said no and gave him a run out instead

Yeah maybe so but the manager letting him go the way he did being a disgrace is a misrepresentation. Lookman asked to go on loan and the request was granted. I don't see whats wrong with that at all? It has been beneficial to the player and hopefully to the club. If he stayed here it probably would have made zero difference both to the results and the player.

mate in a team where bolasie DCL and niasse start games of course Lookman should start most games, he's a far better player than any of them 3 attacking options

He isn't.

Yet. No reason why he wont be going forward.

Now we seem to have got ourselves into a position where if he doesn't come in and be a world beater we will all turn on him because that's what we do.

However the loan came about there is no doubt that it has benefited Lookman hugely.
Adapting to a different country and a different league will have been a huge learning experience for him.

DCL did fairly well in terms of bringing others in to play but can't shoot, Kenny got skinned a few times but tries hard (don't think he's good enough), Holgate looked good at times but makes a few mistakes and Davies had a poor season.

Lookman is the best out of them and he could barely get in the team.

DCL is coming on nicely & looking a good strong forward, Kenny has performed well & will get stronger, Holgate too will improve next season, & Lookman needs to be unleashed next season to show his undoubted talent...

We must remember however that all the above players are still young & we must be patient we their progress...

No it isn’t. The player knew what he needed to progress as BFS wasn’t giving him any game time, but even when arranging to go on loan, BFS managed to upset the player by publicly ridiculing his choice of club and country.....

I get the feeling people overestimate and underestimate this kid in equal measure.

He's never going to be a world beater but I think he is good right now and will be very good in the future.

So much potential there, but still lots to learn...german loan move can only have helped his development, wouldn't even be opposed to another loan deal, the kid is still just 20...fans need to remember his age, let's try to be realistic about our expectations for him next season... We need to be looking at 2 to 3 seasons time to be getting the player we hope we have.... Goodison crowd has a tendency to groan a lot and get on players backs when things are going wrong, which is not easy for young players...
As @blueloon stated using him sparingly and properly will help him develop.
Him and Lozanzo or another left winger if signed rotating and switching in out will help both players settle into a full season

He did get game time. He did alright in a dead rubber game against a poor team and in the Derby (which we lost). He didnt get loads of time and to be frank he didn't really warrant it (nor did anyone else to be fair).

He didn't "ridicule" his decision. He just said he would have preferred him to go to the Championship and there is logic in that way of thinking. Why do we always have to overreact to everything? Either way it seems to have worked out nicely for us, or it will do if we take it easy with the lad and just let him develop and don't overreact if he has a bad or good game.
