These officers should be wearing defensive riot gear, backed up with armoured support vehicles. Instead, they are sent out with as little armour as possible, so as not to provoke the already angered rioters. As for being chased off down the street like that.....what a shameful embarrassment to the Met Police.

Whichever do-gooder idiot is responsible for these tactics, should be forced to join the front line of the riots.
