Loan fees

Does anyone know what the loan fees for Deulofeu / Barry and Lukaku are?

Just wondering as if we've taken 32.5 for Fella and Vic (great piece of business by RM btw), how much is actually left after the summer ins and outs?

BK will have his 'taste' of course.........................

Don't think anything has been confirmed yet pal. All we have to go on is SSN saying that WBA had agreed a £3m loan fee for Lukaku and that we came in with a higher bid to snatch him away. They mentioned £5m, but it was not confirmed.

Barry was widely reported in the papers last week as being on £125k a week, and City had been stubbornly refusing to subsidise a loan move to us. Maybe they caved in on deadline day, because they so desperately needed to reduce their wage bill.... or maybe we caved in and agreed to pay his £6m salary for the year.

In conclusion, no-one knows. But there is a fear the loan outlay could be more than £11m. This is Bill we're talking about, on deadline day....

I'll be amazed if there's anything left for January. We really should be looking at loaning out Duffy or Stones, or selling Heitinga, Naismith or Gueye, or some combination of these, in order to release some cash.

5 million for Lukaku would be astonishing tbh, paying that much for a player we have no rights too would be worrying. His wages will also need paying (part?)

Same with Barry, if we're paying the full 125k, it doesn't really show much respect for Baines does it!

Does answer those fans who will be asking where the 20mil is in January though....................

I worry about those lids. Basic maths appears to be beyond their grasp.

If you start with the £32.5m total proceeds of sale and then account for McCarthy's fee, the sell-on to Liege and the Prem league levy, there is only £14m left anyway. You've then got to account for these two loans!

It is completely impossible for there to be £20m surplus left to spend, even Harry Redknapp's accountant couldn't make that work.

It is so complicated now, what with staged payments, bonus payments, loan fees, agent fees, shared wages, and the like, I doubt the accurate figure will never be known really.

That said, very confident we are "up" on the whole window, both in terms of cash, and in squad strength.

(Personally, I reckon Barry might prove to be the diamond of the lot actually).

£11m for Barrys loan? Dont talk garbage.

We'll have paid a normal fee for him, paying half of his wage, ish, Not a chance we're paying £125k a week for it.

Lukaku's is 3m apparently.

Talk was that if Deulofeu played enough there wouldnt be a loan fee.

Mate we didnt pay a 5 million loan fee for Lukaku. Relax.

No-one said £11m for Barry pal. The grim possibility is £11m for the pair.

Do you have anything other than hope to back up your speculation as to Barry's wages? Half his wage would cost us £3m for the year, what do you term a "normal" fee? £500k? £1m?

Where did you hear Lukaku for £3m? SSN were stating that WBA had offered £3m, and we went higher to seal the deal. No idea if that's fee + wages, or just fee.

But let's say you're right about everything - that's £6m to borrow Barry and Lukaku for one year. That would leave us with around £8m surplus - quite some difference to the £20m some have convinced themselves we banked last night.

SSN reported that we did. It hasn't been confirmed, but Ba was also reported as being shopped around with a £3m loan fee, and WBA were reported to have offered £3m for Lukaku only to see us bid higher. It's a valid question and a valid concern. Time will hopefully provide an answer.

Well I reckon SSN are pretty wide of the mark mate. Would be amazed if we are in for more than 30% of Barrys wages.

The answer has been provided. Our wages havent gone up too much considering they went down around 250k per week when Moyes, Neville (both been gone months btw) Hitz, Fellaini and Anichebe are taken into account.
