I've read that some Barca head honchos have intimated that Delofeu may be granted a years loan extension.

I think loan deals were a club pays a fee should be banned. It encourages bigger clubs to buy players for big fees even though they never play them but may have stopped a rival signing them, then they can hire them out to clubs who aren't going to be thier rivals and get thier money back.
