This stuff is easy to predict. Interact a grasping, intellectual lightweight with power, and you're bound to see bad policy. Such a grasping individual will cheerfully toss anyone and everyone else under the bus in order to retain that power.

Trouble is, she's now sacked the highest-ranking minister, so there's no fall guy left. Either she gets it right, and quickly, or the Tories find a way to wash their hands of her. If they can't formally remove her, they'll just end run her. I can imagine no more appropriately humiliating end than being a prime minister who refuses to resign, but whose MPs simply ignore her and get on with the business of running the country.
