I hope so but I don't think they'd be stupid enough to do that. The cost of living crisis would be the silver bullet labour needed. They would just hammer the Tories about how they are more concerned with uncapping bankers bonuses while there are people queueing at food banks.

Yeah, if we're getting a nearly 50% boost over fourteen years and you're stagnating, you should be very displeased with your leaders indeed. At least here, the increase in nominal prices was 42% over the same period, so we're slightly ahead of treading water and you've probably taken a 30% pay cut.

No wonder your rail workers are striking.
