your premise is wrong. I don't need to have the solution. No one person can. There needs to be a willinghess within the religion to reform, and then evidence of reform, with a consequent reduction in terror. this is an endeavour on the part of the islamic community to rid themselves by their own efforts of that part of their religion which is causing this fanaticism, and it will be a process of trial and error. Your proposal that this particular route of the reform be presented to them by an outside like myself is absurd.

I can tell you that I personally have a Muslim friend, who has graduated from university. Is engaged to and set to marry a white Christian male, with the blessing of her family and wider community. All whilst still practicing her religion.

But you probably don’t want to hear about it anyway.

But that appears to be what you are suggesting. You have taken a standpoint of staring that reform is needed, which is essentially imposing a position on a religion.

Personally, I think you don't actually understand the arguments, not least have read them properly, but use them to justify your own bigotry via a thin veneer of intellectual 'credibility'.

anecdotal evidence that there are fine Muslims everywhere does not change the fact that all societies following islamic precepts have, to our western eyes, deep seated problems. That is undeniable, surely.
