Are you sick of the fact we can see their monstrosity of a new stand from everywhere in the city?

If we have any backbone as a football club, he shouldn't be allowed to even buy a ticket to Goodison Park ever again..such was the disrespect he showed 10 minutes after he departed.
I should be stunned to be having this conversation, but I don't stun easy.

Let's just move on...

Well said. Let's not ever forget that stab in the back.

3 attempts on goal..... 0 on target. In a derby.

No defenders on the subs bench.

Absolutely disgraceful - there is no excuses no more. He has lost the players, but they need to shoulder a lot of the blame right now, i don't care if they don't fight for martinez, they fight for their shirts and future.

Whoever comes in i would have a hard look at the lot of them.

Taraaa martinez, i kept dreaming you had been sacked and waking up to read the news you hadn't - you need to leave now.

Agreed. If the players have something against Martinez that's one thing, but not giving 100% in either a derby or FA Cup semi is a gross disrespect to the shirt.

The morning after the night before, having had time for reflection.

A collection of individuals, not a team. Without a leader on the pitch.

No collective working on the pitch at all, whether in a midfield battle, going forward, or defending. Example: Barkley made a storming run in the first half to the left edge of their penalty area. The only players initially within 20 yards of him were all wearing red shirts... Blue shirts arrived a few seconds leter (too late), almost as an afterthought.

No apparent coaching of players. Witness the number of times Barkley held on to the ball instead of giving a first-time pass and moving on into space. Trying instead to do sonething clever or smart. Their third goal was classic testament to that. Stones had an easy 'out' pass to Oviedo to his right, but no, tries the smart pass forward to a midfielder who was already tightly marked, they gained possession, were on our back four in a couple of seconds, and scored. Jeez, I would have bellowed at my Sunday League team for a cock-up like that!

If you are a massive 'keeper like Robles, you HAVE to command your 6-yard box. The first goal was inexcusable. As soon as the cross was hit, ever before it even reached the penalty area, he should have taken three or fours steps and then caught the ball comfortably. Anything in the air in the 6-yard box, the keeper gets there first, either to punch clear, or catch. That is basic. Anything else, and you are in trouble, as we have seen time after time after time this season. No need to mention specific games - this is down to basic goalkeeper coaching.

I think, and sincerely believe it is so, that the Board are simply waiting to the end of the season before drawing a line under Martinez's tenure. I think they believe that the FA Cup, of itself, will provide the necessary stimulus on the pitch. Beyond the last game, I hope to see a decisive Board getting a strong, proven, Manager on board who will galvanise the best of the squad, unload the dross, and bring in quality players who can indeed move the club forward in the forthcoming seasoins.

I will now retire to a neutral corner and weep...

The whole squad has been guilty of this all season.

Yes. Robles shows promise but really needs to learn from that moment.

The next day after the Derby, after last night and a massive ha government and still thinking how terrible we were last night, have chosen to look forward to the game at Wembley on Saturday afternoon now, it's the one thing we have left for this season, who knows after this weekend?

Got around to watching it late last night. Not that anyone necessarily cares, but my morning after thoughts:

1) Players were up for it during the first half. Only Oviedo seemed unable to cope. Thought Barry especially was excellent through most of the first half.
2) John Stones' individual errors were horrific. Seemed to me he was directly responsible for the first three goals. Some of this is down to Martinez' (lack of) defensive coaching, but if the kid can't get up for the Derby or simply doesn't want to wear the Blue shirt, ship him out at first opportunity.
3) Don't understand subbing Barry at halftime, except Martinez conceding the match. Besic coming in was good for playing time, but not a positive match strategy and Barry was rested last weekend.
4) Not troubled by Funes Mori's challenge. It was a terrible challenge, but it seems to be as much a product of the manager's/team's malaise as anything else. Looked to me like a player trying to get the game back in control when few others were capable/willing.
5) Leave Barkley on the pitch. Like Barry, if he can't get up for 180 minutes of Derby and FA Cup semifinal, the fault is in the manager's training, not rest from matches.
6) Having two midfielders at center-half is all on Martinez making bad choices
7) Can't remember more than the one chance Lukaku had all match; what a dull, uninspiring attack Martinez has created, and if I were Romelu I'd be bored senseless with the service provided.
8) Robles was great, and I'm ok giving him a full season or two to see if he can make it work. He's a decent keeper, and the squad has other holes to fix.
9) I think we have known for some time the emperor is without clothes. He has now fully exposed himself to everyone.
10) If this squad is lead by Martinez on the weekend, I don't see much hope for the victory.

I agree with almost all of what you say and was appalled at the performance.
However, last night John stones was ill. He had the galloping big trots and spent the whole of half time in the dunny.
I accept that he has put in some lacklustre performances this season, but last night he was not fit to play.
We had no alternative because our glorious leader decided to go with only three centre backs this year.
If he hadn't fallen out with Disdin, we may have had some cover.

The explanation on his illness makes a little sense then--saw he was late coming out of the dressing room and went straight back in from his "injury." However, makes even less sense then why Martinez would take Barry off at the half, unless Besic coming in was planned cover for Stones (which went sideways when Funes Mori was dismissed.)

Barry was injured as well and the game was lost by then.
