Are you sick of the fact we can see their monstrosity of a new stand from everywhere in the city?

I left the pit when the third went in. I've seen some [Poor language removed] this season but that has got to be the most spineless performance of the lot. Ross Barkley, I don't like getting on the lads back, but he is supposed to be one of us, why isn't he grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck and getting stuck in?

Roberto will give us one last disappointment on Saturday then hopefully we can get rid and start building for the future

To be honest I thought Ross was trying to do just that. He was certainly the only player that looked like he was busting a gut. Personally I wouldn't have taken him off. Our manager thinks differently though.

Listened to Carragher and Moyes on Sky after the game. Thought Carragher summed it up well. He said Evertonians believe this is the best team we've had since the 80's but said that's rubbish, they're not, Moyes had better teams.

Very true that, this team isn't better but a lot of the individuals are much better but they don't gel as a team. That's got be be down to the manager not getting the chemistry right as Bainsey said.

No fight from the players, no idea from the manager. Put us and him out of our misery now.

Debating whether to even go at the weekend now, I feel that low about Everton, not felt like this since Smith but don't remember feeling even that bad then. Get rid of this ****.

To win a football match just over a week ago the team had to dig deep to the very core of our identity, stretch every sinew and muscle to overcome the odds ....tonight, they just turned up , scratched their arses and had a bit of a kick about.

state of that mess

3 attempts on goal..... 0 on target. In a derby.

No defenders on the subs bench.

Absolutely disgraceful - there is no excuses no more. He has lost the players, but they need to shoulder a lot of the blame right now, i don't care if they don't fight for martinez, they fight for their shirts and future.

Whoever comes in i would have a hard look at the lot of them.

Taraaa martinez, i kept dreaming you had been sacked and waking up to read the news you hadn't - you need to leave now.

I said before that I don't care about the semi-final, now. I do, really, but that debacle has taken away any hope and expectation.

Who knows? We might find something from somewhere and get through, but I know we probably won't, so I won't feel any pain when we don't.

I still haven't watched any of the match yet and even though I know we had someone sent off I don't know who it was. I suspect from what
I've read here that it was RFM. I just hope that when I do eventually look at it that it was worth it.

Clearly, this squad isn't as good as we thought, but I'm certain that it's a lot better than what Martinez has been able to get out of them.

Moyes has a bit of a cheek, ok, he's working for sky but how many times did his sides bottle it against them at Anfield. I just hope he's not in the frame for the job when RM goes. We've lost lots of games this season but since the Arsenal game it appears obvious that the players are not playing for the manager, there's been no effort, commitment or passion. Fortunately we won't get relegated so at least that is something. Don't think the SF will be a massacre cause I don't think Man U are good enough to thrash anyone but I would put my house on them winning by a one or two goals, without reply of course. I'd love to know what's happened in the club over the past 6 weeks or so but I suppose it doesn't matter as long as we get rid of RM. I'm not convinced that will happen until next season. It should happen today.

I bet he had a schadenfreude-induced stroke at the end of that. I can't blame him.

Roberto has basically rescued the Moyes legacy by being so terrible in comparison.

Correct. Fans should not forget Moyes record against the top sides and we didnt win anything under him, he should have got the boot many years before he did

The morning after the night before, having had time for reflection.

A collection of individuals, not a team. Without a leader on the pitch.

No collective working on the pitch at all, whether in a midfield battle, going forward, or defending. Example: Barkley made a storming run in the first half to the left edge of their penalty area. The only players initially within 20 yards of him were all wearing red shirts... Blue shirts arrived a few seconds leter (too late), almost as an afterthought.

No apparent coaching of players. Witness the number of times Barkley held on to the ball instead of giving a first-time pass and moving on into space. Trying instead to do sonething clever or smart. Their third goal was classic testament to that. Stones had an easy 'out' pass to Oviedo to his right, but no, tries the smart pass forward to a midfielder who was already tightly marked, they gained possession, were on our back four in a couple of seconds, and scored. Jeez, I would have bellowed at my Sunday League team for a cock-up like that!

If you are a massive 'keeper like Robles, you HAVE to command your 6-yard box. The first goal was inexcusable. As soon as the cross was hit, ever before it even reached the penalty area, he should have taken three or fours steps and then caught the ball comfortably. Anything in the air in the 6-yard box, the keeper gets there first, either to punch clear, or catch. That is basic. Anything else, and you are in trouble, as we have seen time after time after time this season. No need to mention specific games - this is down to basic goalkeeper coaching.

I think, and sincerely believe it is so, that the Board are simply waiting to the end of the season before drawing a line under Martinez's tenure. I think they believe that the FA Cup, of itself, will provide the necessary stimulus on the pitch. Beyond the last game, I hope to see a decisive Board getting a strong, proven, Manager on board who will galvanise the best of the squad, unload the dross, and bring in quality players who can indeed move the club forward in the forthcoming seasoins.

I will now retire to a neutral corner and weep...

You were watching a diff game to the rest of us. Only thing the manager has got right in a while was take him off. All he did was jog around and lose the ball mostly

.....on the bright side we do have 40 points, just imagine if we didn't.

....another bright note is that our fans continue to act with dignity. As soon as FM was sent off there as an acceptance of the decision and even concern that Origi wasn't seriously injured. No excuses, just acceptance. I'm reminded of two footed challenges by Gerrard and Kuyt in recent Derbies and no acceptance or criticism from their own. Brian Labone was right.

Definitely not a red card if you're wearing a red shirt...
