Said at half time I didnt think we were playing that bad,we werent great but all the pressure we got put
under was caused by sloppy passing and giving the ball away, final third we didnt look like scoring, but then
again neither did the deluded ones, happy with a point

defence certainly seems to be getting there now, jags and stones look a good partnership for me, just want our passing when going forward to improve and bobby to start using subs that make sense (bar browning)

After all his diving can the FA not take retrospective action against Balotelli for continuous simulation?
He also simulates being a human which is bad for the species

Belter of a goal to rescue a point! That first half was when we should have capitalised though, we had countless opportunities to counter but picked the wrong pass or the easy pass every time.
I know it's easy to say but Barkley would have been ideal today in those situations as he drives into the spaces rather than looking for the first opportunity to get it out his feet like Naismith does. I love Nace but today when the space was there to exploit he was not the man for it.

I don't think many teams (other than Villa) go to Anfield and play very well, in fact I'm sure Gary Neville said something similar recently; that most of his Utd results there were get in and get out! You've just got to step it up at the right moments and punish.
That's why our overall performance in my opinion was decent, it's just that lack of incisiveness we have every year at Anfield that costs us.

As for individuals:
Lukaku should have done a lot more in this game as we'd managed to get him into a fair few good positions. Naismith was busy if nothing spectacular. Baines - decent, as was Hibbert! (got burned a couple of times mind) Browning did very well coming on. Good from the centre backs and Barry was ok. Mcarthy was very good after an iffy start, Besic is gonna be a player once he gets up to full pace. Oh and McGeady is not an Everton player, I can't tell you why but he just isn't and I don't like him unfortunately. Gutted for Kev.
