If Martin Atkinson does his job properly they dont score. Bothered if we 'got away with it', they hardly looked like scoring from open play. Much better defensive performance, sloppy passing though. Screamer from our captain, at the Kop End, in stoppage time... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA GET THE [Poor language removed] IN

And If Howard does his job properly they don't score.

Lets have it right though, we never play well at the sh1te, we hardly ever even get a point, so ill take that all day long,

We we ok in 3 quarters of the pitch it was that last quarter were we lacked any threat and creativity, which is expected since we're missing pretty much all our creative players.

Really disapointed with mcgeady, was expecting more from him this season, but hes just not doing it, and we really need him to step it up with so many flair players missing

Like i said a few days agoi would put my house on us being around the top 5 by christmas regardless of the utd and lpool games

Relieved at not being beaten but feel flat. They were a 3 man team last year. One sold, one injured but the most important one is still there..the ref. Absolutely appalling today.

I don't think Everton played that badly as the team defended well today, but Martinez management of the second half was poor again. The subs were too long in coming, and lukaku out wide clearly wasn't working. It's 4 years since we beat these and now add another year to how long it is without a win at anfield so not much satisfaction in a draw but better than nothing.

True, always play naisy behind rom, rom being up top. I think Martinez formation other than that was fine. Brave with hibbo, but spot on with Besic. Deffo shouldve bought Browning on earlier, good to see a change and newbies coming through.
Shame bout miralles for next week too.

Agree with the shouts of Stones & Jags being our best CB partnership atm. A fit Coleman & Baines completes a decent looking back line, truth be told.

In Russia though I'd go with a four of Browning, Distin, Alcaraz & Oviedo personally.

Happy we got the point and stoked for Jags.

But we lacked character and heart tonight, was really disappointing.
Even Timmy Cahill could see the complete lack of endeavour we showed tonight.

But you're not spending 28m on Rom for his passing, that's not his game
What is his game at the moment. He is without doubt one of players that is massively out of form. The reason he played him wide is because a 10 year old can mark him out of the game at the minute.

Most probably kneejerk, but!

Besic did well, Jagielka's a hero, Hibbert did well, Stones did well, Lukaku is attrocious, as is McGeady, and Tony Hibbert is a bonafide hero.
