Liverpool embarrassing themselves and football. (a definitive list)

Whilst telling Dad about all these he tells me McDermott peed off a balcony. Anyone know more on this?

The homecoming reception at St Georges Hall after they won the European Cup in 77. Mc Dermott was pissed and couldn't hold his bladder. There were some unfortunate St Johns Ambulance nurses who got showered below.

Also those infamous comments from Emlyn Hughes. I've hated them ever since

They were denying that at the time too. Always been the same.

Didn't know that about McDermott but I will never forget Hughes. It is well over time for us to get back to winning ways.

They will always be the unwanted that we walked away from in 1892. Read about the socioeconomic views of their board which led to us leaving.

Am I bitter? No. I am bloody annoyed at what they did.

They destroyed English football and its reputation in 1985 two weeks after Everton fans and players had been impeccable ambassadors in Rotterdam winning the plaudits of the Mayor of the city and with fans playing football with the police instead of fighting.

I knew Peter Farrell, and he loved everything that Everton stands for right to his death. "I went to a high school on a high mountain " is how he described his time at Everton.

What where the comments from Hughes? Sorry not old enough to remember them? If not repeatable on here please don’t.
Great to hear about our fans having a kick around with the police the week before and getting plaudits from the mayor, great to hear.

He coined the hilarious ‘Liverpool are magic, Everton are tragic’, the squeaky-voiced, Maggie-kissing Tory bell.

‘Terry Macs a dirty tw*t
P*sses on nurse’s hats’ or something like that was sung the following season
