Never won the league though the bad weapon. He has to sit there every night knowing he never won it, watch numerous ‘best of premier league’ throwbacks knowing he’ll never be in them, knowing that he burst into the Liverpool team as a 17 year old when they were on 18 titles and he left 18 years later and they were still on 18 titles.

And he has live with his 'slip' every time it is brought up or aired on TV. Never the mind the opposition fans still singing about it whenever he lines up in the dug out for a game. Not winning it will haunt him.
