He done what he could to be honest mate, the players let him down somewhat today.

Leave the Moyes bashing for this week if you can.

Well he picks the team mate, he chooses who plays where.

He could have done more with the players he had, and he never.

I love the guy and think he's a better pound for pound manager than Kendall was - but, his record in these games is sketchy, and I want to know why? I'd love him to just say go out there and ******* kill em all. Destroy them.

If he says that, you can see it in the players - I never saw anything that suggested they were motivated to win that game, and so you have to look at the manager.

If moyes thinks we played well by not stretching a 10 man team and having two shots on target in 96 mins, there is no hope for us(n)

stretching the play was the point instead moyes brings on central players and have no tacklers in midfield at all letting the rs dictate play.

Lack of motivation

Bang on.

Total number of posts - 1.

Adios.

Why though?

How?

Isn't motivating the players one of Moyes strong points? Standing up and being counted when the odds are against us?

The total is greater than the sum of its parts, great team spirit with players who always give 100% for each other.

Not today.

I honestly believe that Moyes has said to them, just don't foul anyone - don't give the ref that chance. Which is basically taking away the bite from the team. That aggression that we have as footballers.

This team would have battered sides in the 80s cos they play like men - but your not allowed to, especially against a bunch of girls.

I'm sorry but I don't agree. The responsibility is always on the manager if he can't capitalise on having a man advantage. We're not even dominating and having shots at goal.

You have to excuse my blue fluffy friend, he won't put blame on any person. Not in his nature.

I will though - I don't give a fook.

Moyes got Manager of The Month, well done, so he needs to take responsibility when it goes wrong also - and today it did, and he needed to say that.

It wasn't a lack of motivation today, unfotunatley it was a complete lack of tactical ability. we made the game easy for liverpool by not spreading the play and you wouldn't have known it was 11 v 10 if you had missed the sending off.

I have always said that moyes is very one dimensional and struggles with any kind of football that doesn't involve hitting the frontman. our whole team/system is based on tucking inside and picking up the second ball. This is why we find it hard to breakdown good defensive teams unless we score from a set piece.
We may pull off the odd good move during games but it is usually the same old bollocks.

moyes got it all wrong again his lack of tactical awareness showed again as did his poor use and timing of substitutions what he says is irrelevant as very few managers speak the truth after the game.

They can play on the ground mate, I've seen it on more than one occassion, i've seen them rip teams a new one with intricate passing. So I don't think they are the hoof at the moment, but I do think they were told to take it easy.

There was no spark in the 2nd half.

Also worth noting that the 10 mins after the sending off, when we were also down to 10 men, we had 85% of the possession.

we sometimes play it on the ground mate, but it usually only involves two players. pienaar/baines. as a whole our movement off the ball when in possession is one of the worst ive seen in the prem, so nine times out of ten it ends in a lob forward to the frontman

I'll blame when it's warranted but all Im seeing is kneejerking.

What more could have been done, Shanks?
