Some of the names being put forward on this thread given it is entitled "limited but liked" have surprised me. But that aside I would put forward Steven Naismith, he wasn't a bad footballer but definitely had his limitations but when he was on the pitch he gave of his all. He also seemed to be a descent person, someone who recognised the privileged position he occupied and didn't take it for granted.
